Anyone who reads the Borowitz Report on The New Yorker, knows that Andy Borowitz does satire articles that sometimes people think are real because they tend to do the whole, ‘art imitating life’ thing.
Mainly he writes to make you to laugh; to lighten the load, especially when ‘the load’ seems so heavy and unbearable.
In a recent article, Mr. Borowitz focused on a few issues that Trump tends to whine about all the time: Popularity, being liked, and being more popular and liked than President Obama.
Trump has some big shoes to fill and will never come close to being the man, president, leader, and person President Obama was and still is.
Here is a snippet from the Borowitz Report, “Trump Demands Facebook Investigate Why Obama’s Post Got So Many Likes.”
“A furious Donald J. Trump has demanded that Facebook investigate why a status update posted by former President Barack Obama on Monday has received so many likes.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday morning, Trump said that the more than eight hundred and fifty thousand likes that Obama’s post had garnered as of Tuesday night were ‘phony,’ and called the seeming popularity of the post a ‘rigged hoax.’
‘There is absolutely no way that eight hundred and fifty thousand people liked Obama’s post,’ he said. ‘I know a lot of people, and absolutely none of them like Obama.'”
Sounds pretty real, right? Something Trump might whine about and threaten to do?
