WA Gov. Jay Inslee exits the 2020 Democratic presidential primary race

Washington state governor, Jay Inslee, who launched his campaign on a single issue, Climate Change, has decided to end his 2020 presidential race.

He appeared on the Rachel Maddow Show and announced: “It’s become clear that I’m not going to be carrying the ball, I’m not going to be the president so I’m withdrawing tonight from the race.”

He also said he would ensure that other candidates focus more on Climate Change.

Inslee did not throw his support behind any, one candidate at this time, but said he would support whomever the Democratic Party chooses as their nominee.
