Although it should be taken with a grain of salt because Mitt Romney is known to flip-flop and vote for Trump’s fascist agenda, Romney is one of the few Republicans who has expressed ‘concern’ about Trump’s phone conversations with the Ukrainian president.
On Sunday, Romney said it would be “troubling in the extreme” if Trump did urge Ukrainian officials to work with Rudy Giuliani to investigate Joe Biden.
Apparently, Romney’s comments got under Trump’s thin skin so, he put together this little video for Senator Romney. More than likely, a staffer did it for him since Trump was busy promoting religious liberty around the world at the United Nations.
Oh, wait! Senator Susan Collins (R-Maine) faces a tough reelection and said on Monday that Congress should see the whistleblower complaint.
“The law is clear that if the inspector general of the intelligence community receives a whistleblower complaint, that the IG deems is urgent, that that is to be reported to the leaders of the intelligence community,” Collins said. “And I very much appreciate the fact that the chairman has decided that the entire committee should be briefed, not just the chairman and vice chairman.”WaPo:
‘Leader’ McConnell is very, very upset that the Democratic Party has politicized Trump’s phone calls pressuring the Ukrainian president to work with Rudy Giuliani to dig up dirt on Joe Biden.
