Trump wanted to shoot immigrants in the legs, a moat with snakes and alligators

This is not who we are but it was a joke during the Obama administration:

Sickeningly enough, Trump wanted to do just that.

According to The New York Times, back in March, Trump ‘fumed’ about migrants to the point he suggested, “fortifying a border wall with a water-filled trench, stocked with snakes or alligators, prompting aides to seek a cost estimate. He wanted the wall electrified, with spikes on top that could pierce human flesh. After publicly suggesting that soldiers shoot migrants if they threw rocks, the president backed off when his staff told him that was illegal. But later in a meeting, aides recalled, he suggested that they shoot migrants in the legs to slow them down. That’s not allowed either, they told him.”

Obviously, his emotions and frustrations got the best of him and thankfully, his plan never came to fruition. But, it does go to his twisted state of mind and views on migrants from south of the border.

In this particular article, The New York Times goes on to say that it “is based on interviews with more than a dozen White House and administration officials directly involved in the events of that week in March. They were granted anonymity to describe sensitive conversations with the president and top officials in the government.”

Officials claimed they tried to get Trump to calm down but in his usual defensive and delusional manner, Trump retorted, “You are making me look like an idiot!” Mr. Trump shouted, adding in a profanity, as multiple officials in the room described it. “I ran on this. It’s my issue.”

No one has to even try hard to make Trump look like an ‘idiot.’ He can do that all on his own and exceptionally well.
