Acting DHS Secretary forced to leave stage; ‘Hate is not normal’

Acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan attempted to deliver a speech on immigration at Georgetown law school but protesters heckled him to death on the administration’s cruel and punitive immigration policies.

“When our immigrants are under attack what do we do?” some of the protesters chanted.

“Stand up fight back,” others chanted back.

McAleenan attempted to deliver his remarks three times before just closing up shop and walking off the stage.

According to the organizers, CREDO showed up and told The Hill the group led the protest, along with several other immigration and progressive action groups, and some Georgetown Law students.

The protest’s goal “was to prevent McAleenan from having a platform to normalizing Trump’s cruel immigration policies and spreading hatred,” wrote the representative.

Who will be Trump' running mate?
