One of world’s largest fish just went extinct

China isn’t the only nation at risk of losing its biodiversity. An explosive United Nations report released this past May found that up to a million species are at risk of extinction because of human activities. About 66% of the global marine environment has been significantly altered by humans, and more than a third of all marine mammals are threatened, the report said. MORE
