Thai soldiers killed 20, wounded dozens in Terminal 21 shopping mall shooting spree

A soldier has killed 20 people and injured dozens more in a gun rampage in the Thai city of Nakhon Ratchasima.

Jakraphanth Thomma, a junior officer, killed his commanding officer before stealing weapons from a military camp on Saturday afternoon, a defence spokesperson told BBC Thai.

The suspect, whose motives remain unclear, then drove to a city centre shopping mall, where he is holed up.

He also posted about the attack on social media.
