The Dow Jones suffered again Friday morning, plunging over 900 points, on uncertainty over the spread of the coronavirus.
The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq were both down by nearly 2%, and the Dow registered at 3% down.
The reaction comes on the heels of the US Food and Drug Administration announcing it has been alerted to a shortage of a drug due to the outbreak. Officials also warned of an impending spread in the U.S., and companies have warned investors of supply chain interruptions.
