CNBC reported the Dow tanked 2,352 points for a 10% drop, its largest single day decline since the Oct. 1987 crash. The S&P 500 dropped 9.5%, closing in bear market territory, or more than 20% below its recent high. The Nasdaq dropped 9.4%.
