VP Pence confirmed on Thursday morning that coronavirus is more lethal than the flu and that the United States will see “thousands” of more cases.
Pence also spoke about “irresponsible rhetoric” regarding the outbreak.
Pence also reassured viewers that the administration was leaning on the efforts to produce enough tests.
As conflicting information has come directly from the White House, Pence defended the Trump administration’s response, in particular the travel ban to Europe announced last night “all because we know there will be more infections in the days ahead.”
