Trump signs new $484 billion aid bill for hospitals and businesses

Trump signed a $484 billion aid package into law Friday that provides emergency relief for hospitals and small businesses stretched thin by the coronavirus outbreak — the fourth rescue bill enacted by the government since the deadly pandemic hit the U.S.

“Great for small businesses, great for the workers,” said Trump, who only invited Republican lawmakers to the signing event, even though the bill was the product of lengthy bipartisan negotiations.
