As Trump and Trumpers love to harp on the cognitive abilities of Joe Biden, the Democratic contender turned the tables on Trump on Tuesday at a press conference suggesting that Trump “doesn’t seem to be cognitively aware of what’s going on” with his own briefings about Russia and U.S. service members.
At the same press conference a Fox News reporter asked Biden if he’d been tested for cognitive decline.
“I’ve been tested and I’m constantly tested,” Biden responded, adding that “I can hardly wait to compare my cognitive capability to the cognitive capability of the man I’m running against.”
The Trump campaign had to spin the segment on Twitter, asking what the results were and why was Biden getting frequently tested?
The Biden campaign response was that Joe was referring to the past 15 months on the campaign trail, and that Trump is again guilty of projection and distraction.
Ironically, Eric Trump had something weird to say about genetics.
Trump is now 74, the oldest POTUS to take office, while Biden is 77. Previous candidates in history have had their age and mental acuity question, such as Barry Goldwater in ’64, Ronald Reagen in ’84, and Bob Dole in ’96.
