DeVos has no clue on how to reopen our schools this fall; threatens to cut off funding if they don’t

Fox ‘News’ host Chris Wallace had Department of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos on “Fox News Sunday.” DeVos reiterated the administration’s’ position on reopening the schools this fall despite the continuous spikes in the Coronavirus.

Betsy made the same threat that her boss, The Idiot in Chief, has said repeatedly: Either open up the schools fully or the administration will cut off funding. However, when Chris Wallace asked her to cite an authority that would grant her or Trump this power, she failed miserably. In fact, she could not answer the question since there is NO power to do so since CONGRESS appropriates funds.

Wallace also pressed Betsy on how the administration would make schools safer for kids to return. Betsy struggled with that question as well but then answered by saying, “Kids cannot afford to not continue learning.”

What she’s saying:

“American investment in education is a promise to students and their families. If schools aren’t going to reopen and not fulfill that promise, they shouldn’t get the funds.”

  • “Then give it to the families to decide to go to a school that is going to meet that promise. It’s a promise to the American people, let’s follow through on the promise.”

Who will be Trump' running mate?
