The same Norwegian lawmaker who nominated Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2018 for his fiddling with North Korea, has done it again.
“It is for his contribution for peace between Israel and the UAE. It is a unique deal,” Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of parliament for the right-wing Progress Party, told Reuters.
Tybring-Gjedde also said he nominated Trump for his withdrawal of troops from Iraq. Anyone who is a member of a national assembly or national government can nominate someone for the Peace Prize.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee, who decides on the award, declined to comment.
Trump complained last year that he would likely never be awarded the honor, like his predecessor and kryptonite, Barack Obama. was in 2009.
Christian Tybring-Gjedde is a Norwegian immigration nut.
He was severely criticized in 2011 when he suggested that Muslims were by nature more aggressive than Norwegians, and has also previously compared the hijab head covering for women to the robes of the Ku Klux Klan.
