Mitt Romney “Troubled” By U.S. Politics, Mostly Blaming Trump

Utah Senator Mitt Romney released a statement that decried the state of American politics ahead of the 2020 election, saying he’s fed up with how vile and vituperative (bitter and abusive) things have become. Much of the blame he appeared to place on Trump.

“The president calls the Democratic vice presidential candidate “a monster;” he repeatedly labels the speaker of the House “crazy;” he calls for the Justice Department to put the prior president in jail; he attacks the governor of Michigan on the very day a plot is discovered to kidnap her,” Romney said of comments Trump has made within the last week in Fox News interviews and on Twitter.

Of note was the response from Keith Olbermann, who reiterated that Trump is a terrorist, and accusing Romney of being an enabler, on his Worst Person In The World Channel on YouTube.
