Trump refused to say on Wednesday whether he would bring back Billy Barr as his Attorney General in a potential second term.
“Can’t comment on that, it’s too early. I’m not happy, with all of the evidence I had, I can tell you that. I am not happy,” Trump said.
Trump’s pouty tantrum came after his Department of Justice failed to deliver any criminal wrongdoing by the Obama administration in an investigation of the “unmasking” of Trump campaign officials.
Another investigation led by John Durham has been late in wrapping up before the election, and Trump complained to Rush Limbaugh about that as well.
“If that’s the case I think it’s terrible. It’s very disappointing. And I’ll tell him to his face.”
“Unless Bill Barr indicts these people for crimes — the greatest political crimes in the history of our country — then we’re going to get little satisfaction unless I win,” Trump said on Fox Business last week. “But these people should be indicted, this was the greatest political crime in the history of our country. And that includes Obama and it includes Biden.”
