As of 10/24/2020, America has:

• 83,851 new cases
• 828 new deaths
• 472,338 cases in the last 7 days

The five states with the most new cases over the last 7 days:

• Texas  (37,508)
• Illinois  (31,517)
• Wisconsin  (29,912)
• California  (28,335)
• Florida  (23,287)

JOHNS HOPKINS STATE BY STATE TESTING TRENDS Statistics:

Nationally, we have a 6.1% rate of positive results in testing, trending upwards sharply.   14 states have a positive rate higher than 10%.  The five worst are:

1. Mississippi  (100%)
2. South Dakota  (38.2%)
3. Idaho  (34.1%)
4. Wyoming  (28.7%)
5. Alabama  (24.7%)

COVID TRACKING PROJECT Statistics:
