Over the weekend, America’s Covid-19 Pandemic continued to worsen.

Worldometer  stats:

  • On Saturday and Sunday, America gained 157,614 new cases
  • On Saturday and Sunday, America gained 1,313 recorded deaths

Johns Hopkins  stats:

America currently has a 6.6% positive test rate and rising.  The positive rate has gone up for the last month with no indication of slowing.  During the last week, 12 states did less testing and 20 states did more testing than they did the previous week.  14 states, plus DC, currently have a less than 5% positive test rate, 17 states have a greater than 10% positive test rate, the 5 worst being:

  1. South Dakota 50.0%
  2. Wyoming  42.9%
  3. Iowa  34.6%
  4. Idaho  34.0%
  5. Kansas  33.8%
