  • a 7 day average of 169,865 cases / day
  • 12.073 million total cases
  • 2,065 new covid deaths (most since May 7th)
  • a 7 day average of 1,398 cases / day
  • 258,333 total covid deaths

JOHNS HOPKINS  stats for yesterday:

America’s 7 day average for positive test rate is still 10.0%.  Only 5 states, plus DC, still have a positive rate of 5% or less, while 29 states now have a positive rate of 10% or higher.  The worst of them are:

  1. Wyoming  81.1%
  2. South Dakota  52.5%
  3. Iowa  48.6%
  4. Idaho  40.7%
  5. Kansas  40.6%
