Idaho health board meeting canceled because of safety concerns from COVIDIOTS

“My 12-year-old son is home by himself right now and there are protesters banging outside the door,” Diana Lachiondo said. “I’m going to go home and make sure he’s OK.”

he Central District Health Board meeting Tuesday night has been canceled due to safety concerns.

Within minutes, two Central District Health board members said protesters were currently outside their home ahead of a public health order vote.

Soon after, she excused herself in tears to inform the board that she had to leave the meeting.

Boise Police and Boise Mayor Lauren McLean requested the Central District Health meeting be postponed due to protests outside CDH and board member’s homes.

Due to large crowds outside of CDH offices and several board members’ homes, CDH Director Russ Duke said Mayor McLean and Boise Police requested the meeting end over safety concerns.
