Pence May Be Getting the Vaccine By Friday

Vice President Mike Pence may be getting the vaccine as early as Friday, even ahead of Donald Trump. Tentative plans are for Pence to get his inoculation on camera.

Kayleigh McEnany said that Trump was open to taking the vaccine to instill confidence in the public, but she did not commit to a time frame or that Trump would take his inoculation on camera.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Tuesday that he recommends Trump and Pence be vaccinated, adding “even though the President himself was infected and he has likely antibodies that likely would be protective, we’re not sure how long that protection lasts.”

Fauci also said he feels strongly that Biden and Harris be vaccinated as soon as possible so that they have protection before taking office in January.

The President-elect said that his raspy voice and cough during his post-electoral college vote speech was due to having “a bit of a cold” after some viewers were concerned.
