Impeachment 2.0: House Democrats to introduce articles of impeachment as early as Monday

House Democrats will introduce articles of impeachment against Trump as early as Monday and plan to vote to impeach, again, sometime in the middle of next week. If impeached, Trump will go down in history as the only sitting president to be impeached twice, as well as a one term president.

“We know that we have limited time, but that every day that Donald Trump is president of the United States, is a day of grave danger. So we can use procedural tools to get articles of impeachment to the floor for a House vote quickly,” Clark, D-Mass., said on CNN’s “New Day.”

Although the chances of the Senate removing Trump from office before he officially leaves on January 20th, Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE) will “definitely consider whatever articles they might move because I believe the president has disregarded his oath of office … What he did was wicked.”
