Charles W. Herbster, a Nebraska Republican and the then national chairman of the Agriculture and Rural Advisory Committee said in a Facebook post at 8:33 p.m. on Jan. 5 that he was standing “in the private residence of the President at Trump International with the following patriots who are joining me in a battle for justice and truth.”
It is unclear if Trump himself attended the meeting at the hotel.
Txtwire CEO Daniel Beck claims he was at the January 5 meeting also, and that additional attendees at the gathering included Rudy Giuliani, Kimberly Guilfoyle, and Mike Lindell.
Stop The Steal coordinator Ali Alexander says he received a call from Guilfoyle on the evening of January 5 — when she would have been at the meeting.
A spokesperson for Tommy Tuberville says he did not attend this meeting. Tuberville was the then-director of the Republican Attorneys General Association.
Herbster is also not answering questions from the media.
