2 FBI Agents Killed, 3 Wounded in Florida While Serving Warrant

Two FBI agents were shot and killed and another three were wounded while serving a warrant at a Sunrise, Florida, home early on Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened at around 6 a.m.

Sunrise police said the suspect had holed up in his home at an apartment complex.

After several hours, it is believed the suspect took his own life.

An FBI statement said that two agents were in stable condition at a Fort Lauderdale hospital. The third agent’s condition was not addressed.

The FBI was serving a routine search warrant to seize the suspect’s computer and other evidence after an investigation led to what were likely child pornography charges. The FBI obtained the address through the internet service provider.
