Family in food line gets verbally abused by man yelling at people to ‘get a job’

Since the pandemic hit, food lines across the United States have helped feed many families struggling just to get buy. In Buckeye, AZ, “a man harassed and yelled at people who were waiting in line at a food drive on Thursday.”

An unidentified family recorded the man yelling at them as they waited in a church food drive to get food to help feed their four children. They asked Arizona Family to protect their identities out of fear of retaliation.

“He looked at my son and told him that his parents were pathetic and couldn’t afford to feed him. At that point, all my manners went out the window,” said one of the parents.

“Get a f***ing job.”

Arizona Family reached out to the person identified as the man recorded yelling at families waiting for food.

“He said he is the owner of High Side Electric in Buckeye. The company name was seen on the truck the man was driving. He told us he stands by what he said and that,”‘those people need to go to work. They should be ashamed of themselves.‘”

The family is now in the process of filing a police report with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
