The Oprah interview with Prince Harry and Meghan revealed a couple of interesting take-aways.
- Meghan was miserable and suicidal during her pregnancy with Archie, and the institution around the royal family — known as “The Firm”– were unwilling to allow her the help she needed.
- The royal family decided not to make her baby Archie a prince, which would provide him the security that would come with that title, and that they were concerned about the color of their children’s skin.
Harry confirmed that there was an actual conversation about their child’s skin tone, but refused to share details of who the conversation was with, while they maintain a close relationship with the Queen.
Prince Charles and Prince William, not so much.
