Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner falsely reported during a phone interview with Trump that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas had just resigned.
Trump was in the middle of bashing immigrants and the Biden administration’s border policy when Faulkner interrupted the former guy and seemed to be getting false information through her headset from producers.
“That’s a big victory for our country,” Trump said, when hearing the false report. After the correction, “I think it will eventually happen.”
Trump was also heavily pushing the Big Lie and bragging about getting almost 75 million votes. Faulkner didn’t dispute, but instead pivoted the conversation toward COVID-19.
