Maxine Waters gets under Republican’s skin

Maxine Waters appeared with protesters in Brooklyn Center, MN and said activists had to let law enforcement know “we mean business,” along with other remarks attention seeking Republicans construed as incitements to violence. The 82 year-old lawmaker spoke out against the killing of Duante Wright, the 20-year-old Black man who was shot dead by police after he attempted to evade arrest following a traffic stop.

“I’m going to fight with all of the people who stand for justice,” said Waters, who is Black. “We’ve got to get justice in this country and we cannot allow these killings to continue.”

“We’ve got to stay on the street and we’ve got to get more active, we’ve got to get more confrontational. We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.”

“I hope we’re going to get a verdict that will say guilty, guilty, guilty. And if we don’t, we cannot go away.”

The Guardian:

On Sunday, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (Idiot-CA) tweeted that if Speaker Nancy Pelosi doesn’t address the matter, he will.

Margorie (White Supremacist Caucus) Taylor Greene also said she would introduce a resolution to expel Auntie Maxine and hopes Speaker Pelosi will support it.

In a statement emailed to Newsweek, Greene’s office said she announced plans to expel Waters “after the California Congresswoman invited Black Live [sic] Matter domestic terrorists to fire gun shots at National Guardsmen in Minnesota.”

“As a sitting United States Congresswoman, Rep. Maxine Waters threatened a jury demanding a guilty verdict and threatened violence if Chauvin is found not guilty. This is also an abuse of power,” Greene added.

Of course, Fox News helped fuel the latest faux outrage:
