Brevard County deputies said they believe two children found a gun, and while it was being handled the firearm accidently discharged. One of the children, a boy, was shot.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office have told WESH 2 there will be no charges because the adult who owned the weapon took adequate means to lock it away.
Officials said the two kids were supposed to be at another residence under adult supervision. They left and went back to this home and entered a locked room to find the gun.
