Wing Nut Watch: Rand Paul tells Kentucky to resist’ the CDC as COVID-19 cases surge

In a short video posted on Twitter, Senator Rand Paul (Idiot-KY) told viewers to resist the CDC guidelines while hospitalization rates have spiked in his state, especially among children.

“It’s time for us to resist. They can’t arrest all of us. They can’t keep all of your kids home from school. They can’t keep every government building closed.”

Without presenting any scientific evidence to back his wing nut claim, Paul went on to describe “the CDC’s mask mandate as ‘anti-science” and said no one should follow it. He also called those bringing in the rules ‘petty tyrants and bureaucrats”.

Speaker Pelosi has no control over the Senate; therefore, she could not force Poodle Head or any other Senator to wear a mask or follow CDC guidelines; that would be up to Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Fact Check: Does a Photo Show Rand Paul Getting a COVID Vaccine?

A photo of Poodle Head receiving what appears to be a COVID-19 vaccine has floated all around Twitterverse; it’s untrue.

Although the photo shows Paul getting jabbed, he received a Hepatitis booster back in February of 2015. Paul invited NYT reporter Jeremy W. Peters to witness the event after he faced ‘criticism over comments he made during a measles outbreak. Paul ‘said parents should be allowed to decide if their children are vaccinated or not, stating that he had heard stories from parents who said their children had suffered mental disorders having been vaccinated.’

Who will be Trump' running mate?
