Erik Prince Offering $6,500 Flights Out of Afghanistan

Former Navy SEAL and military contractor Erik Prince is reportedly offering chartered flights out of Afghanistan at $6,500 per seat.

The brother of former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos told the Wall Street Journal that it would cost more if people needed help getting from their homes to the airport in Kabul. The report was unclear whether Prince had the capability of carrying out rescue missions and flights.

Prince, the founder of a military security firm formerly known as Blackwater, has been in the middle of Middle East controversies before when Blackwater forces killed more than a dozen Iraqi citizens in Baghdad.
