Millions of people are vaccinated—less than 8,000 of them have died from the virus

The chances of dying from COVID-19 post-vaccination are extremely slim.

As of October 12, 2021, more than 187 million people have been vaccinated. The number of deaths from COVID in vaccinated people sits around 7,000, meaning there’s about a 0.004 percent chance of death by COVID if you’ve been vaccinated. And even within that tiny percent, 85 percent of them are in the older than 65 age range. According to a recent CDC report, vaccinated people were, on average, five times less likely to get infected with COVID-19 and if they did get infected, vaccinated folks were 10 times less likely to be hospitalized or die from the novel virus compared to people who were not vaccinated.

Southwest Airlines will keep workers on the jobs who apply for vaccination exemptions

“While we intend to grant all valid requests for accommodations, in the event a request is not granted, the company will provide adequate time for an employee to become fully vaccinated while continuing to work and adhering to safety protocols,” King said.

American Airlines said Tuesday that workers who are granted medical or religious exemptions will probably have to wear face masks and undergo regular testing, but the airline is still working on details.

Southwest and American are both based in Texas, where the Republican governor has ordered businesses not to require employees or customers to be vaccinated. Both say they will comply with President Joe Biden’s federal mandate that contractors require vaccination, which they believe has legal priority over state orders.

How To Trigger an Illiterate, Ignorant, Racist, and ‘Fullish’ MAGAt: Point out he left out the accurate parts of the issues he didn’t like.

Lessons Learned: Don’t be a ‘stumbling block.’ Quit listening to Illiterate, Ignorant, Racist, and ‘Fullish’ MAGAts. They’re wrong 99.999% of the time and can get you killed.
