You Do Wednesday? What does the Democratic Party need to do to avoid a ‘shellacking’ in the midterms?

At News Views, we’re always trying something to get y’all out here talking. This week, I’ve presented an issue that affects us: How to prevent a Republican takeover come the next election/midterms.

Last night, the Democratic Party received what should be a major wake-up call. Sure, there is plenty of blame or scapegoating to go around but, what do you think went wrong? What do you think the Democratic Party needs to do to avoid a shellacking come the 2022 midterms?

I’m not going to post a recap of last night’s election but the outcome resulted in a newly elected, Republican governor in Virginia and a dead heat tie in New Jersey. We want to avoid these outcomes come 2022 but, what should we do to prevent them?

Your task, as the intelligent lot you are, is to come up with some suggestions. Answer any and all questions you want but more importantly, share your ideas with your fellow News Viewers. Feel free to share your thoughts on this subject because it affects all of us.

Hope you enjoy- Please understand that this is not a free chat thread. Please post to the topic; share your ideas, answer the questions I asked, and offer up any solutions/ideas, etc. you may have. I will also ask that you cite your source(s) if you use any.
