California Representative Devin Nunes announces he’ll retire from Congress

Controversial congressman Devin Nunes announced Monday he’ll retire from Congress at the end of the month. ‘Rumor has it,’ Nunez will join the Former Guy in his latest social media adventure. The Los Angeles Times reported that redistricting and the fact California lost a member of Congress for the first time in history, Nunes would have faced a tough reelection in the 2022 midterms.

Moments after his statement, the Trump Media & Technology Group released its own saying Nunes would be its chief executive officer.

Trump praised Nunes in the media group’s statement, calling him “a fighter and a leader.”

“He will make an excellent CEO of TMTG,” Trump said.
