A “justice complex” in rural Nevada unveiled a plaque that renames its county courthouses, jail, and sheriff’s office to the Donald J. Trump Justice Complex.
About 50 people attended a ceremony dedicating the new name last Saturday in Lyon County, Nevada.
The facility, which opened in 2013, houses the sheriff’s office, jail, Third Judicial District Court and Walker River Justice Court in Yerington.
Commissioners approved the new name last August on a 3-2 vote after a discussion about renaming a road after Trump fell through, noting that residents would have to change their addresses.
