Top o’ the mornin’, NewsViewers, and Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Grab your Irish Mug and join us for Coffee Talk and more on this fine Thursday, as we begin to break down what in the world is happening out there. It’s going to take some caffeine, and maybe more.
Coffee Talk is your free chat zone with a suggested topic of the day, and I’ll bet you could guess what today’s topic might be.
St. Patrick’s Day historically was a religious holiday to celebrate the patron saint of Ireland for bringing Christianity to its people, but it has evolved into an excuse to celebrate Irish culture, wear green, or drink green beer.
What, if anything, will you do today to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?
Do you make an Irish recipe — dinner, dessert, or drinks? Do you catch a movie or enjoy some Irish music? Do you go around pinching people who don’t wear green?
Let us know what things you do to celebrate the Irish holiday — and everything else that is on your mind today. I’ll leave you with this timely Irish jam, and an Irish blessing:
For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way:
Good health, good luck, and happiness,
For today and every day.
