***Note: The January 6 Committee has two Republicans members, Rep. Liz Cheney and Rep. Adam Kinzinger. Although both representatives voted pretty much for everything TFG wanted during his reign of terror, they are still not Republican enough for him; they’re RINOs.
In an interview with Punchbowl News, Trump whined about Qevin McQarthy not appointing enough Republicans to the panel. Originally, McQarthy appointed five GOPers, including Gym Jordan and Jim Banks, but Speaker Pelosi refused to seat them because of “their previous objections to President Biden’s Electoral College victory.“ Instead of replacing the two MAGAts with other members of the Republicans, McQarthy pulled all five members.
“Well, I think in retrospect, I think it would have been very smart to put [Republicans on the committee] and again, I wasn’t involved in it from a standpoint so I never looked at it too closely. But I think it would have been good if we had representation.
“They were great and would’ve been great to have them,” Trump said of Jordan and Banks. “But when Pelosi wrongfully didn’t allow them, we should’ve picked other people. We have a lot of good people in the Republican Party.”The Hill:
