Newsmax host Greg Kelly is kissing some butt today by suggesting that a potentially illegal phone call from TFG was likely a butt dial.
Kelly said he has been the recipient of more than one phone call from the Former Guy, but when he calls you can’t tell it’s actually him calling.
By Newsmax reasoning, it was probably an accident, an innocent mishap that Trump tried to contact the unidentified witness.
Kelly told his audience that the committee has “no authority.”
At the end of yesterday’s committee hearing, Liz Cheney revealed that Trump tried to call a witness, but the witness did not answer, and a lawyer for the witness informed the committee. The DOJ was then informed of the phone call.
