The January 6 Committee revealed yesterday that White House logs show ten House GOP members met at the White House to focus on pressuring Mike Pence to overturn the election.
The ten members who were physically in attendance according to the official log were:
- Rep. Brian Babin (R-Texas)
- Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.)
- Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.)
- Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas)
- Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.)
- Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md.)
- Rep. Jody Hice (R-Ga.)
- Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio)
- Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.)
- Now-Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.)
Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson told the committee in her testimony that two others were present who were not on the visitor logs — Alabama Rep Mo Brooks, and Arizona Rep Debbie Lesko. Also in attendance were Pence, Mark Meadows, and Rudy Giuliani, according to Hutchinson.
According to Hutchinson’s testimony, they felt that Pence had the authority to send the Electors back to the states.
Six of the attendees of the December 21, 2020, meeting — Biggs, Brooks, Gaetz, Gohmert, Greene, and Perry — sought pardons.
Marjorie Taylor Greene posted a video to Twitter on December 21 regarding the meeting. Greene was not sworn into Congress until January.
