Last Call: August 13, 2022

“Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”

― George Santayana

Goooood evening, News Viewers, and welcome to the weekend. See the quote above? I wonder if any TFG voters wish they would’ve paid more attention to it when they voted for the traitor. I mean, many of his avid supporters lived through the Nixon error, WTF were they thinking? Oh, well, it’s all in the past but perhaps maybe a few might think twice if the traitor decides to run again for president.

But enough of the traitor and his KKKult; let’s move on.

It’s Saturday night and Last Call at News Views. So, feel free to talk about anything that’s on your mind; play some music; pretty much anything within reason goes.

I wanted to feature the #1 song on August 8, 1974; the day Nixon announced he would resign but no way in hell will I torture myself or anyone else with John Denver’s, Annie’s Song. My apologies to anyone who liked it or was a fan of John Denver but, nope—can’t bring myself to do it.

But, a few days later, Roberta Flack’s Feel Like Makin’ Love became #1 and knocked Annie out of that spot. So, I’ll post it but, it was never one of my favorite songs; although, it is rather relaxing. So, pour your favorite beverage, kickback, and enjoy one another’s company.

Enjoy the weekend and stay safe!
