Coffee Talk

Good morning, Coffee Talkers and conversation specialists, and welcome to another crazy Thursday morning. Bring the topics of your choice, and include local, national, global, or universal; personal or general; funny or serious. Let’s talk politics and religion, books, music and movies, cats and dogs, or the suggested topic of the day.

Today’s Topic:

I’m waking to our first local winter weather advisories, and I might add that I cannot remember in my lifetime such wintry weather arriving this early in the season. Thanksgiving being a general marker of seasons, we might have snowflakes or a dusting on the ground before Turkey Day, but a storm is pretty unusual.

We are predicted to have a foot of snow by Saturday, with heavy squalls bringing two inches per hour intermittently. I repeat: UGH.

How is climate change impacting your life?

Temperatures are rising, rainfall patterns are shifting, and affecting sea levels, air quality, and comfort levels. What are the changes you are noticing where you live, and what is affecting your every day life?

Personally, I’m thinking about putting up a Christmas tree today, and I hate Christmas.

Free chat at ease, troops, this is your safe Thursday space.
