Although it’s true that new housing developments in San Diego will ban natural gas in new construction and California will phase out gas furnaces, water heaters, etc by 2030, ‘the feds’ aren’t coming to confiscate your gas stove, regardless of what Fox ‘News’ and other RW shitholes tell you. 🙄
How the Latest ‘Faux Outrage’ ignited:
- A member of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), an agency charged with protecting the public from dangerous household products, said in mid-December that the commission will consider regulating indoor air pollution from gas stoves.
- Senators Booker, Beyer Lead Colleagues in Urging CPSC to Address Dangerous Indoor Air Pollutants Emitted by Gas Stoves—solution? Stove hoods come with–derp!
- Commissioner Richard L. Trumka Jr., a Democrat, said in an interview that he had not ruled out a ban on the appliances.
- Then it went south and DINO Joe Manchin hopped on the Crazy Train:
