Happy Friday News Viewers. . . Truly, TGIF — will you remember where you were yesterday on March 30, 2023, the day of Trump’s first indictment AND the first time a president has been indicted?
I will remember it as the day I felt a two-ton weight start to lift off my back. Since he started to campaign in 2015, there has been no escape from this man and his band of lunatic hangers on, the family, the lawyers, the seedy staffers, the tacky talking heads, all talking all the time, all tweeting all the time, my gawd, will we finally get to hear the sound of No Trump Talking?
Of course, it’s a far cry from over. And though movement is starting to happen where Trump is concerned, he’s created monsters that have spread across Washington, the courts, the country, the states, the media. . .we still have to endure them, but One may be going down, because it’s past time for accountability, past time for the removal of Trump from public life.
“The time is out of joint, O cursed spite, that ever I was born to set it right,” to quote Shakespeare, an understatement, especially when we realize that the upcoming arrest of a president is just one of many “out of joint” happenings this week — with a legislative branch denying they were born to set it or anything else right. . .
