OHIO: ‘Shoot Them.’ Chipotle Order Turns Chaotic After Duo Demands More Cheese

DATELINE: COLUMBUS, Ohio – A demand for more cheese at Chipotle Mexican Grill in Ohio spawned a fight in the restaurant where one suspect pulled out a gun and another repeatedly shouted, “shoot them.”

The incident happened March 28 in a Chipotle restaurant on South High Street in Columbus’ Brewery District. After the customers received their order, they became upset because they wanted more cheese on their food, according to Crime Stoppers.

First, they cornered a restaurant worker and knocked her hat off. When other employees came to her aid, a fight broke out. Witnesses told Columbus police that is when one suspect pulled out a gun while the other said “shoot them,” according to Crime Stoppers. Witnesses told police the gun misfired. Before leaving, the suspects threw chairs and trash cans inside the restaurant and stole a cell phone from someone who was at the scene.
