Georgia conservative Seth Weathers, the former director for TFG’s 2016 campaign in the state, launched a controversial new beer brand, “Ultra Right Beer,” as a rightwing-friendly alternative to Bud Light. Weather’s ‘swill’ will cost $19.99 for a six-pack (thanks, Brandon!) and will be available to ship sometime in May. The company brews its swill in Illinois; a state that does not allow the direct sale of alcohol to consumers. The MAGAt brewery also faces other legal challenges.
Crain’s Chicago Business also reported on Thursday that Illinois requires its brewers to register their labels and become licensed beer retailers before they can hawk their products in the state. “It’s highly unlikely that they will be able to gain the proper licensing in time,” Ray Stout, the executive director of the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild said. Also, Anheuser-Busch owns another brand that contains the word “Ultra” in its name, Michelob Ultra—something that might potentially lead to legal problems for Con Dad. But more than likely, Anheuser-Busch would not pursue a copyright infringement suit against the Anti-Woke beer company because the word, ultra, is used in many consumer products. Plus, the company does not want to give the MAGAt any free advertising or the attention he so desperately craves.
***Yep, he sure ‘owned the libs’ with that home run hit!
