Several injured after UAW strikers hit by vehicle
Several people were injured Tuesday afternoon when a person drove through a group of United Auto Workers strikers at the Flint Processing Center.
Matt Bade, the chief of police for the Metro Police Authority of Genesee County, said about five people had minor injuries after the incident, which occurred around 4 p.m. outside the facility.
UAW Region 1-D President Steve Dawes told MLive-The Flint Journal that the vehicle involved in the incident was dark in color, possibly an HHR or PT Cruiser.
