Some of the more sane…whatever that translates in today’s GQP, have claimed that they and their spouses have received “heavy handed pressure tactics from allies of Jim Jordan to back him for Speaker, including some reporting that their spouses received alarming anonymous texts that bordered on threats.”
It remains unclear who made these threats but they appear typical of what MAGAts do including, “near-extortion type pressure, including from Sean Hannity, on members who have refused to back Jordon.”
As a reminder, Gym has not passed ONE bill in many years in Congress.
