More Hostages Will Be Released As Truce Extension Negotiations Continue
A truce extension is likely on the horizon
As we enter the final day of the temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, officials have announced that eleven additional hostages will be released from Hamas custody. These hostages include nine children and two mothers held since October 7th. This release was in doubt this morning as Hamas originally planned to release children without their mothers in violation of the previous agreement. The families of the hostages have been notified by the Prime Minister’s Office and the hostages are expected home within the next several hours.

After receiving criticism during the recess from his own Members such as Chip Roy and even George Santos for accomplishing nothing this year, the House GOP leadership will return to session after a very lengthy Thanksgiving recess to more of the same non-substantive nonsense.
Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Mar-a-Lago) announced today for his audience-of-one in south Florida that his ‘Weaponization of Government’ Committee will hold another hearing this Thursday, November 30, where the subject matter will be the same as the hearing they conducted a year ago.
