Florida Woman Sentenced to One Month In Prison for Selling Ashley Biden’s Diary

Florida woman Aimee Harris was sentenced Tuesday to a month in prison and three months of home confinement for stealing and selling Ashley Biden’s diary four years ago to the conservative group Project Veritas.

Manhattan Federal Judge Laura Taylor Swain called the Palm Beach woman’s actions “despicable.”

Prosecutors said Harris stole the President’s daughter’s diary in September 2020 while she was temporarily staying at Ashley Biden’s residence in Delray Beach, Fla. The diary contained “highly personal entries” as well as tax records, a cellphone and family photographs, according to the DOJ.

Harris pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge in August 2022, admitting to selling the diary and other personal belongings to Project Veritas, and receiving half of the $40,000 payment promised. Harris enlisted a co-defendant, Robert Kurlander, to assist her. Kurlander pleaded guilty also, after also receiving $20,000 from Project Veritas.

Project Veritas did not publish the diary, another conservative outlet shithole did, after a presumed leak.

Project Veritas, along with its leader James O'Keefe, identified as a "news organization," but is better known for its hidden camera stings, altered and edited to embarrass various individuals and liberal-leaning organizations.

“I do not believe I am above the law,” Harris said.

Prosecutors had urged for a prison sentence since Harris had failed to appear for several sentencing dates, as she claimed she was busy caring for her two young children.

Harris tried painting herself as a victim, telling the judge, “I’m a survivor of long term domestic abuse and sexual trauma.”

Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert Sobelman pointed out that Harris was not the victim in the case: “Ms. Biden is the victim in this case.”

A tearful Harris apologized during her sentencing to Ashley Biden, saying she regrets making her childhood and life public.
