Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s former longtime aide, and Alex Soros, son of billionaire political activist George Soros, are getting married.
Vogue reports that Soros, 38, proposed to Abedin, 48, in May at home in New York City before they headed to Italy for a formal celebration. The happy couple told the magazine they’d met in fall 2023 at a mutual friend’s birthday party.
The pair appear poised to become a serious political power couple, and a serious thorn in the side of Fox News and other conspiracy theorists, as Soros took over his billionaire father’s empire in June of 2023.
“I’m more political,” Alex said of his views as compared to his father’s. Huma became Hillary Clinton’s campaign vice-chair in 2016.
